Dream – 2/17/2008
I am taking photos of the Farm Family of the Year for the newspaper. They are halfway between Milwaukee and Madison, Wis. I live in both places … an apartment.
The road from Milwaukee to their farm is almost all interstate, fast and straight. The road from their farm to Madison is curvy, slow. I get there from Milwaukee and am to go to Madison when I am finished.
Three people … and older man and woman, plus their daughter perhaps … are there. I try taking photos inside the house of the man and woman. I get a camera that looks more like a clear case for eyeglasses. I open it up. I think it is working, but it has no indicators and no flash.
I tell them I have to get a camera with a flash to make sure I get a good photo. The other person walks around doing household chores while we are trying to get the photo done.
